Everyone was so amazing and so supportive over the Bill Maher thing, I am asking for your help again.
Two incredible moms have teamed up to form the League of Maternal Justice, a site designed to mobilize and direct those of us who are not willing to sit back and watch as Facebook decides breastfeeding is indecent, Applebees kicks women out for nursing their babies, and Bill Maher decides Playboy is the only way the world should get their fill of breasts.
I am asking that each and every one of you head over, and pledge your support. They are hosting a Virtual Nurse-In, and would love to have your favorite breastfeeding photo as part of a montage they are creating. Don’t have a picture? Didn’t breastfeed? You can still write a post or sport a button on your blog about how you support women’s right to breastfeed in public.
If there is anything we’ve learned lately, is that there is power in numbers. We joke that making milk is a superpower, let’s band together, use our powers for good, and support the League of Maternal Justice in their quest to rid the world of crappy attitudes.
Glad I’m not the only one that Bill pissed off!

the last few times that i’ve been out and mom’s are nursing…i make it a point to give them the thumbs up or walk by and say “bravo”…we have to empower ourselves…we don’t need applebees or bill maher dictating to us!

Totally rocking the breastfeeding baby button. Totally.
Just one more reason for blog networks to tell me my content is “inappropriate,” I’m sure.
Ooh, and one more reason to break open that webcam for the virtual nurse-in. I did leave a comment at Sam’s, BTW! I’m telling you, people are too lazy to click one extra button. 😉

I just came over here from Sam’s place.
I have to admit I was totally up on the applebys story and the facebook story but had only seen references to the Bill Mahr one.
Anyway, now I’m reading all your stuff and it’s great. I was hestitating posting something that happened to me personally, but I suddenly am inspired to. Thanks!!!
