  1. I think it was a weak performance for her. She was always so energetic and bouncy before. She looked nervous and uncomfortable. I think she looked amazing… I’d love to look that way after a c-section (I am FAR FAR FAR from it). I do believe her costume designer should be shot. They could have done something to make her feel a little more comfortable I think.

  2. I think her body looks better now that it did before having kids.

That kind of dancing….damn good exercise to get rid of baby fat. All that stomach rolling and such. Gotta build tone fur sure.

Surround me with a bunch of guys like that as part of a exercise regiment and I’d exercise my ass off three times a day and would look good in that costume.

  3. Oh good lord, where to start? It was painful to watch. I got so sad watching her because I really think that I wanted her to do well. Even if everything else in her life is going to shit I was hoping she’d at least have the passion to perform still I guess?
It was just so akward – her dancing was like watching a beginner at their first dance recital. And the lip syncing? Ugh, if you’re not going to sing your song for reals at least know the words so that it looks like you’re singing it! I keep hearing about how chunky she looked but after having two kids myself I was pretty impressed, however, that outfit could have been a lot better.
All in all it was just depressing to watch. 😦

  4. Trainwreck!

And I can’t believe I googled it today to witness such a wreck.

Because, you know, I’m too important to actually watch it when it’s on TV.

    I was very busy.

Watching Rock of Love and The Pickup Artist.

Don’t you wish you could touch me.

  5. She just keeps going downhill…I think she’s lost all respect for herself, the way she’s been acting, and it’s showing through in her performance.

BTW, they won’t stream video from the US MTV site for anyone in Canada…here’s the link to the Canadian site in case anyone wants to see it:

  6. I felt like she didnt really want to be there. It was really very sad. Like she wasnt really trying. She needs to get rid of all the ‘yes men’ in her life, and get people in there that have her best interests in mind. I really do feel sorry for her.

  7. I seriously think she is mentally unstable. At the beginning of her crisis, I thought it was for more attention and more paparazzi but now I definatly see something wrong. I’m disappointed at MTV for exploiting Britney. They knew it was at least an 80% chance she would crash and burn so it’s partly their fault too. I really feel bad for her.

  8. I think it is sad that so much negative press is going on and on about this…I think Ella is right MTV figured she would crash and burn, and look at all the press MTV has gotten over this. I was soooo in the “who gives a **** about Brit” camp before and now I really feel sorry for her. Poor girl, I wish I could send her some love.

  9. AND… what really pisses me off is that MOST of the media is going on and on about how fat she has gotten… FAT?! FAT?! really… Being a fat girl, I would trade bodies with her anyday! She looks DAMN good to have a. had two babies, and b. had them in the last two years.. It kills me!! This is why our hollywood starlets are wasting away!

  10. Well, I’m a loser too… I had no idea they were on. i used to watch them religiously but most of the music I haven’t heard. I think I have officially become OLD. Oh yeah, we were supposed to be talking about Brit.

I saw the video last night… I feel kind of sorry for her. I think that once she got up there and saw the “mouth open, but not in a good way” response she got from all of those famous people in the audience she realized what a huge mistake she had just made. At least she didn’t walk off and showed the courage (or stupidity) to follow through with the performance, though it was half hearted in the beginning and end.

  11. I know I will hear backlash from this but here goes my 2 cent: I think she had on too many clothes for Britney. I like my women wild, a thong would have been nice to see her in. And for everyone who gets on Britney about what she does I say get a life. What she does is her business so butt out of it.

  12. I felt bad for her. I can jump on the anti-celeb bandwagon as fast as anybody else until I realize that these are real people with real feelings. She looked terrified.

As for Sara Silverman (is that her name?). I don’t like her. Not one bit and changed the channel as soon as she started spewing her crap.

  13. I missed it too and then watched it online… I had to… the media was talking about it so much I had to see it! I was expected terrible and was happy it was just not so good. Her body looked healthy to me… 2 babies in 2 years I could only hope to look that good. Her performance was not THAT bad. She did seem unsure of herself and nervous but hey I would be scared too! I think she forgot how to walk and dance in heels like that! I am just so tired of hearing about how she is screwing up her life and her children’s lives – making her ass of an ex husband look like an angel.

  14. I saw it and it made me sad. She was not into it or was scared to death. At any rate her confidence is gone. I thought she looked good for having had 2 kids in 18 months. It makes me sick how the media has attacked her and her body. I also worry that if the media doesn’t let up that she may kill herself. The girl obviously has serious mental health issues and is in need of an intervention. Tearing her down isn’t helping matters.
