I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor over this one, because one of Mylie Cyrus’ biggest selling points is her squeaky-clean image. The picture is nothing like the recent skin-fest that was Lindsay Lohan butchering Marylin Monroe’s image, but..ummm…she is FIFTEEN..WHY the need to do this??????
Please tell me this is just a fake or something??
*Editing to add another pic from the shoot. The story has been confirmed, with the family now claiming the photographer ‘took advantage’ of her by taking that kind of picture.
I have to admit, I LOVE being outdone by a reader. As much as I like writing a good post, I much more enjoy the discussion that follows, because often it is more entertaining than anything I could come up with.
The other day I posted about one of those oh-so-fun conversations I had to have with my son about how NOT to use his penis. The comments that followed with some of your own stories were hilarious, but one still today makes me giggle, so thanks Cassie of ‘Diapers Sold Separately’ for this particular gem-
It starts at birth and doesn’t end until the day they die. I asked my then 3 year old what he wanted for his fourth birthday and he said “An even huger pee-pee!”
Don’t they all? 😉
That one deserved a little linky love, so please go check out Cassie’s blog and see what else she has to offer. Comments make the blogs go round, but great comments like that make the ride more enjoyable 😉
Recently I posted about escaping the monotony of mommy life and heading to Chicago for SOBcon 2008 the first weekend of May. That’s coming up fast, only 9 days away. 9 days of
sweating and having nightmares dreaming about all the exciting people I’m going to meet at the conference. It’s going to be here before I know it. (I will survive this, right?)
In the meantime, I’ve been keeping myself busy sending out invites to what I hope will be the talk of the weekend, a fabulous Chicago blogger meetup at O’Callaghan’s Irish Pub on Thursday, May 1st at 8pm. Paul O’Flaherty and I are planning this on behalf of FuelMyBlog.com and so far its looking to be a great turnout!
So my friends, if any of you are in Chicago (yes lurkers, that means you too!) and want to drop by, we’d love to meet you. The event is open to bloggers of all kinds(podcasters/vidcasters too!), and you can earn yourself a free drink if you are a registered user of FuelMyBlog and display one of their widgets on your site 😉 Either way it will be a great time with a wide range of bloggers, and best of all we will be streaming it live on Blogtv!
If you think you can make it, you can confirm on the Upcoming site or drop us a email.
Hope to see you in Chicago!!
