Anyone else’s husband picking up their copy tomorrow? (Or worse yet, tonight at midnight??) I suspect I won’t be the only woman out there catching up on Tivo shows and Twittering more than usual!

I won’t be a Halo 3 widow, but I will be an NHL widow come the beginning of October. I always wear black that day of the year.
    I feel your pain.

Nope, we watch English Pemiere League and England National Team Soccer here…

That’s been going on for a while – It seems to be all year some times with International and League games…

Luckily I like to watch and it’s not as bad as when we lived in England and watched the “Sky Sports News” chanel 24/7/365… seriously…

I know what you mean. Not only do I lose my husband to the game but my 13 y/old will have galloping hordes of friends invading my house as well. We’re the “cool” house w/ all the game systems and newest games. I wonder if I can just book myself into a spa for the next week or so?? Hmmmmm

I am SOOOOOO glad my husband is the furthest thing from a gaming freak. He wouldn’t even know what it is – and neither did I til I saw it on the Today Show lol!

 did a search for halo 3 widow. this popped up. i have a 2 yr old and a 2 month old. i’m trying to be a good girl, he’s been looking forward to this for sooooo long. while i’m nursing one child and trying to get the other to stop picking his nose (newest fascination) i hear lovely cursing coming from the living room. i’m thinking he gets one more day to be totally absorbed. after that i’m stealing crucial cords and hiding them in the diaper pail if he doesn’t shape up.

 Oh yeah, I too am a Halo widow. My husband was in line at midnight. He proceeded to play online with his brother and another friend from 8am until 11pm (they completed the game). All the while, I’m a stay at home mom of 2 1/2 yr and 1 1/2 yr olds who have been barred from the basement that holds the man cave and all that goes with XBox (big TV). Unfortunately, Tivo and playroom also downstairs. Our first level has turned into a daycare of sorts. I want my life back pre-Halo 3.

I saw your information on line and I wanted to let you know about a website that I am starting called HaloWidow.com. I am married to a gamer and he is “in love” with Halo 3 so since I have so much free time I decided to start my own website dedicated to those of us who have lost our spouses or significant others to Halo! All hail Master Chief!!! The site will be up and running by Monday April 7, 2008
